New siding should never cover up a problem. When Colton's crew pulls the old material, the wall behind it gets checked first: damaged sheathing, rot, and water intrusion are photographed and fixed before anything new goes on.

Why "Nehemiah"?
Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem when they lay in ruins. He built with a tool in one hand and a guard in the other, and he wouldn't come down off the wall or cut a corner until the work was done. That's the standard behind the name, and the hammer and spear in the mark: one hand builds, one hand guards. Colton's crew rebuilds what's worn out so it lasts, and they protect the house while they do it, right down to the rot behind the old siding.
