Nehemiah Remodeling / About
You get the owner and his crew, not a rotating cast of subs.
Nehemiah Remodeling is Colton Hovey and a couple of guys he trusts. 13 years in the trade, and the same crew is on your job from the estimate to the walkthrough. You will know who is in your driveway and who to call with a question.
What the crew does
Siding, soffit and fascia, and metal wrapping are the specialty, hundreds of jobs deep. Around that: full home remodels, kitchens, bathrooms and tile showers, painting, and the exterior work that protects the house: windows, decks, fencing. One shop for the whole house, inside and out.
The part you usually never see
New siding should never cover up a problem. When the old material comes off, the wall behind it gets checked first: damaged sheathing, rot, and water intrusion get photographed and fixed before anything new goes on. You see what was behind your walls, and you know it was handled instead of hidden.
Why "Nehemiah"?
Nehemiah rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem when they lay in ruins. He built with a tool in one hand and a guard in the other, and he would not come down off the wall or cut a corner until the work was done. That is the standard behind the name, and the hammer and spear in the mark: one hand builds, one hand guards.
“Each labored on the work with one hand, and held his weapon with the other.”
Nehemiah 4:17
